Ed joined Quantum Communications after more than fifteen years in television news. Most recently, Ed served a long and diverse tenure at WHTM-TV, the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania ABC affiliate. He previously worked for WBOC-TV, the Salisbury, Maryland CBS affiliate.
Ed has overseen and participated in a multitude of projects. His roles have included preproduction, daily news gathering, script writing, promotional spot and long-format production and writing. Ed’s multi-faceted experience helps position Quantum’s media production team in a class by itself.
Through the years, Ed has been honored by many professional organizations for his work. He has received three regional Emmys. In 2007, Ed received an Emmy nomination for his work on “Greetings From Soulville”, a two-part feature about a Harrisburg record label in the 1960s. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Associated Press, National Press Photographers Association, and Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters have all recognized Ed for the quality of his video work and storytelling ability.
Ed is a graduate of Penn State University where he majored in Broadcast/Cable Communications.
