Asten E. Rigel joined Quantum Communications after working as a multimedia reporter at The Daily Item based in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. There she covered breaking news, state and local governments, business issues and non-profit organizations.
As part of the Quantum strategic communications management team, Asten uses her media experience in video production, print/radio news writing and knowledge of media platforms to assist Quantum clients.
Asten is a graduate of Shippensburg University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Journalism with an emphasis in electronic media. At Shippensburg, Asten served as a reporter, videographer and editor at the nationally recognized university television station, SUTV and as a reporter at the student-run newspaper, The Slate.
Asten has also worked at WHTM-TV ABC 27 of Harrisburg, Pa, and WHAG-TV NBC 25 of Hagerstown, Md.
