Thom LoPiccolo, In Remembrance
September 27th, 2007
Our friend and colleague Thom LoPiccolo died Friday, September 21, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer. Thom was not only the creative genius of Quantum Communications he was a funny, thoughtful and wise human being. He was a joy to work with and a friend to all of us on the Quantum team. In the middle of a crisis he was calm, in the presence of the ordinary he brought laughs, when it came time to do the hard work he was always ready. In a family everyone has an important role. Thom was an essential member of our Quantum Family and will be greatly missed, always remembered and forever treasured.
Thom’s patient and peaceful approach to the hectic pace and pressure of his professional colleagues was like a window to the world that should be as a servant of the Lord. His disciplined approach, his love for his craft and his dedication to his family and the Catholic Church served as a wonderful example in our midst.
His much loved wife Anita and family are in our thoughts and prayers.

September 28th, 2007 at 02:53 PM Hey Thom! It's hard to say goodbye. It's hard to think of you gone. No more projects to work on together and no more long talks. But I know you are up there in that great production facility in the sky where software always works the way it should and the hardware never crashes. I want you to know you are loved and missed. Here's to you Thom! (Raises glass) -Nicholas Bierzonski
October 3rd, 2007 at 12:15 AM I had the privilege of working with both Thom and Anita back in the early to mid-nineties on a few projects. One project took us to Tampa for a Black & Decker shoot. It was such a pleasure to be around the two of them. Years went by and I ran into Thom at a facility auction around 2003. It was so nice to see an old client, colleague and friend again. He represented class and professionalism in an industry of constant change. I wish for all newcomers to the video profession to have the manners and class as Thom LoPiccolo had. I’m glad to have known you, Thom. Godspeed.
October 3rd, 2007 at 05:49 PM Dearest Thom...The partner of my life, a treasured father, grandfather, friend and spouse. I thank God for the opportunity to live, love, laugh and work with this courageous and extremely talented man, who will remain in my heart and soul forever...Love, Anita
October 5th, 2007 at 01:36 AM Thom, You will live in my heart forever. You are remarkable in so many ways, and your courage inspires me to try to become half the man you are. And when we meet up again, on a star, in heaven, or whatever, we'll do a CD that will have the angels singing Alleluia! God's speed on your journey, dear friend, and know that if there's one person I'd want to ride shotgun with, into eternity, it's you. I love you so much. Bob Goodman
